I was born on a back to the land farm by my eco-feminist mother and poet father, founder of the Sow’s Ear Magazine, which were the first words I ever read. Inspired by botanical artist/solarpunk/disablity transgender rights activist/ obstetrics spirit guide siblings, and my transformational battle with schizoaffective disorder, my poetry has been widely read. I won the Leidig Poetry Award judged by Linda Pastan and the May B Smith writing award & recently won honorable mention in Wild Leek’s Chapbook Contest judged by Ron Rash. Currently I am in the early stages of manifesting my dream of completing a Masters of Fine Arts program in Poetry (pending acceptance.)
